The CoolBOX is a heat exchanger that transfers heat between two fluids — one hot and one cold — without mixing them.
This device uses thermal conduction and convection to transfer heat between two separate fluids — usually steam/condensate and water — without them ever mixing. It’s built for efficient heat recovery and temperature control under high pressure and high temperature, which makes it ideal for autoclave use.

The CoolBOX efficiently recovers and manages heat from your autoclave system, protects your plumbing, and saves energy — all in a compact, easy-to-install unit. It’s a smart, sustainable, and professional solution for any clinic or lab.
CoolBOX
Autoclaves use steam at temperatures between 120–134°C (or 248–273.2°F) to sterilize instruments. After the sterilization process, a drainage stage removes the used water. Since the discharged water is at a high temperature, it must be cooled down before being released into the drainage system. One of the most effective ways to achieve this is by using a heat exchanger. A coil-type heat exchanger can: Reduce the heat of the autoclave’s discharge water or steam to a safe and balanced level. Enable automatic discharge of the outlet water. Decrease energy consumption and shorten the operation cycle time.
